I went to the rheumy on Friday and told him my hands go to sleep at night and I wake up because of the tingling and pain. He thinks my right wrist has carpel tunnel and suggested I get a brace at the pharmacy and try it at night at least. I did and the pain is much less and no more tingling at night.

I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem?

I have it in both hands..been tested 3 times..they check progression..it is worse in my left hand and I am right handed...same sym

I wore lock up wrist splints for 4 years, on both of my wrist due to Carpel Tunnel. I had just bought another new pair, at the cost of $140.00, when I was diagnosed with Diabetes Insipidus. Miraculously, my carpel tunnel went away......My Neurologist thinks that now that my body is hydrated properly that my wrists are fine now....

I am out $140.00 for brand new braces, but no more carpel tunnel......

There are so many small bones in the wrist. I have been told that by repetive movements some of these bones crunch up against others causing a pinching. A good chiropractor can readily put the bones back in their original position which would go a long way to eleviating your pain.
