Hi, I have Psoriatic Arthritis and was pretty much laid up on the couch or bed for over 3 Yrs.. That was until I had the chance to go to the U of I hospitals for help. Words can not describe what they have done to help me out. Though I am still disabeld my quality of life is so much better.

This Spring I plan to ride a Mini Three Wheeled Bike through every State. Now Alaska and Hawaii will be tough without help. The name of my cause is PURPAL (People United Relieving Painfull Arthretic Lives).

My plan is to raise awareness to the need for help of those with Arthritis as well as start up a fund. Mostly for those like myself who were left alone on the couch in pain with no medical help until the U of I and Hawkeye Cares came into my life.

I have been working of this for Months. Having a plan of action and mapped out my entire trip through the Continental US. I would imagine my effort will be well known before its end the further that I get into it.


I am not giving out my name at this point. For now just know me as EZ. I would love to get others ideas and help. Will give out more of my plans for those who are interested.
