I am new to this board, my mother has been diagnosed with B-cell lymphoma, stage 4 and I was wondering if someone would be able to help me navigate through this new world of doctors, questions, heartache, and most important, how to help my mom. I thank you in advance for your time!

hello there, im sooo sorry to hear about your mom-i lost mine to kidney cancer a year and a half ago and it was bad from the advent of symptoms, diagnosis, surgery, hospitalizations and nursing home. One thing i can tell you is that you need to be on top of everything-always be there to be her advocate because if your not on top of things she will experience neglect. I found that people dont really care-they cause the suffering and premature deaths of many. Always focus on the pain meds-she should not suffer if it can be avoided. Be there for her, let her know she is not alone and that you will be alright as well. Its a hard road and you will feel like your in a nightmare-but you will get through and so will you dear mother=my prayers are with you both-God bless

Have you been back to the board? I wanted to ask you what state you live in because I have a rare lymphoma and go to MD Anderson in Texas. I am just now going through all the topics but wanted to let you know that I will say a prayer for your mother right now.
