With Cancer last night! She has been suffering for about a year. She has been in the Nursing Home and also in and out of the hospital. They 1st found it in her Liver and then all through her. She had Chemo and Radiation but I think by the time the Cancer was found,she was in the later stages of Cancer. THe thing that really bothered me was,they kept giving her Chemo and the Dr's knew she couldn't ever get well. It was such a terrible thing for them to keep giving her Chemo and she just got worse and worse. At the VERY end,her husband stopped the Chemo,when he knew how sick she got from it. MUCH MUCH to late to make her dying last days comfortable.
I had breast Cancer and a left Mastectomy and I have told my daughters that when it comes to Chemo and all the awful things at the end,I DON"T want that. I want to die as comfortable as possible and that means no Chemo. Chemo don't work,it just makes you worse, in my option,and in a lot of Dr's option also.
