New to Candida

Hi, I'm a 30 year old male that apparently has had candida symptoms for a number of years. Back when I first recognized the symptoms, I confided in a family member and was told that the symptoms I had were consistent with a harmless penile condition called "pearly white papules." I hadn't been sexually active for quite a while before these showed up, so I believed the advice and moved on. Over the past few years I've developed several of the other symptoms that Candida entails including very bad dark circles under my eyes, abdominal discomfort, etc. Not having medical insurance at the time, I guess my question is whether or not I'm going to need to visit a doctor or can I medicate myself over the counter? This is obviously an embarassing subject, so thanks for any help you can give.

Get on it

I am a 41 male that had symptoms of a candida infection in my gut but the doctors just kept treating acid reflux and gave my BIG time ant-acids and anti-gas meds. This went on for well over a year until I got leaky gut syndrome. When this happend I became systemic and let me tell ya THAT is NOT fun. This means it got into my blood stream and THATS a whole new animal . If you get to the buggers before they bore the wall of your intestines it's not that hard to treat.

To answer your question there are not to many doctors that know how to treat this anyway. It's reall all up to you and a change in life style is needed for a while. IMO you should just assume you have it and go on the candida diet NOW. Along with this diet you should take a very good pro biotic which I took three lac for about 2 months and it helped a lot. I now take Mega Flora which is a pill form with 20 billion culture per pill. The next thing to do is get a few ani-fungals and rotate them on a five day rotation because cnadida mutates and builds a resistance to any of these. There are many to pick from just use google for that or a local health food store.
Most people take vitiamans and clean the colon at the same time of trying to kill the candida and this is a wrong approach. The vitiamans keep the yeast strong just like they do for us. The body cleanses like bentonite which is the best IMO should be used after the 2 month killing. Sometimes the cleanse can actually spread the stuff to more places in the gut. The cleanse should be a getting rid of all the dead stuff left behind after the killing and like I said about 2 months. The last step is to build your imune system back to normal which there are many products for that. All this is not fun but should work if you really follow these rules.

Since I had leaky gut syndrome I still have issues with this beast and I went on a 6 month STRICT diet and all the steps above. IMO it's VERY VERY important to nip this thing in the bud or it seems to take over your life.

Hope this helps and if you need anymore help I have studied this thing for 2 years now and would love to help.
