Pharmaceutical anti-fungals?

I've been trying to do the detox diet, but got so sick from die off, I presume, so I had to back off a little. I've been feeling so much better, but I know it's only b/c the yeast are no longer dying. I want to get back on track, but am scared to start feeling sick again. I'm taking a probiotic, buffered C, pao d'arco, multi-vitamin, and senna/psylium, but am considering going the pharmaceutical route. Any advice on which one to use and how much?

Pharmaceutical anti-fungals

Hi there,

I just started the Diflucan about a week and half ago and I am not enjoying it. It's difficult even to compose this e-mail because the brain fog is pretty severe. Unfortunately, feeling bad comes with the territory whether you do the diet, pharmaceutical or both. Antifungals and the candida diet promote die off and that's why we feel bad, so you have to try as best as you can to remember that the feeling bad will lead you to the feeling good. If you are able, try to pamper yourself as much as possible and relax. I work full time, but have had to take off several times because of my issues with candida and now because of the die off symptoms.

I was talking to a pharmacist recently about Nystatin as opposed to Diflucan and the pharmacist said that the Diflucan is more effective and it's what my doctor prescribed, so it is the route I am taking. You have to have your liver enzymes checked while on the drug and I am taking Milk Thistle to support my liver.

Hope this helps.
