coming home and seeing how happy my doggies are to see me!

listening to my grandkids 12 & 9 tell me all about their goings on. Makes them happy, and that makes me happy.

Happiness would be: almost pain free!!!!

one of those rare moments when my body goes..ping! and somehow everythng seems to fall into order, the chemical balances, the metabolism and i get this spontaneous 'lift'..the pain, fatigue melts away, my mind is clear as light, the body feels energised and life looks livable, I want to do things, I want to get on with life.

A beautiful sunny summer day, and laughing with my friends til my belly hurts!

Happiness is watching YoGaba Gaba and other preschool shows/ movies with my little boy.

Happiness is seeing my little boy chase bubbles, dance, smile and hear his laugh or the words "mommy" "daddy" from his little voice.

Happiness is the voice of my husband or the sentiment expressed in his eyes.

Happiness is a hug. It's my cat and/ or dogs curled up next to me, looking with caring and trusting eyes.

Happiness is freedom, time away from the routin or time with nature, on a walk or road trip or anywhere where its beauty can be seen.

Happiness is a large view of city lights or the Vegas strip.

Happiness is a candle light flickering, stars against the dark sky. Its a fireplace or campfire burning and the aroma of its smell. Its light on a Christmas tree or around a house or garden.

Happiness is file Gumbo, creole cuisine, bagels and lox or hot fudge on ice cream.
Its the smell of good familiar food cooking or baking in a kitchen or an aroma that greets before opening the front door.

Happiness is cheerful anticipation and waiting for something or someone to arrive.

Happiness is a quiet summer night, fan circling in the room, little boy making childlike sounds, husband snoring waiting in a cozy bed, dog sleeping, cat watching, sound of typing and a screen with windows to the world.

Happiness is a moment to stop and think about .... Happiness is...

Today Happiness is....

finding out that they want to keep me at my clinical site and it will probably be an evening shift :0)
Finding out my friend moved close by. It makes me happy to know he is near.

coming home and all the grown kids has moved out of the house.

is a good fresh cup of organic french roast, enjoying my morning cup now.

Happiness is a wonderful bowl of homemade veggie soup. Just had a large one last night that my gf made...it was so good.

Also happiness for me is getting good cards at bridge and playing them good.

And, of course, happiness is wanting peace and content for my daughter and her children. Huge....

waking up and not being depressed

when I wake up but a good fresh cup of java does it big time. And I'm fine the rest of the day....Thyroid and Vit D are huge with depression. They were for me when I wasn't treated for both.

Today, my big happiness is a wonderful pot of chicken/lentil soup. My neighbor is invited to have some later. She's kinda sad, her brother was found dead in his apt and he had been dead for 2 days. Well, that's something she could not control and those things happen. Long story, but enough for now.
