How is everyone today?

Hey gang,

I really have not been writing much lately - other than the lame-o post I cut and pasted on weight and depression/anxiety (I just thought it was very relevant to the struggle). I'm basically doing pretty well, but really bummed about weight. But on the positive side I did walk 30 minutes today - and had my oatmeal, so that's a start right?

How is everyone else doing today? Just thought I'd do a check in so everyone can vent their current moods...

Hope all is good with everyone.

Thanks

Yes, it is a start... And it's amazing how much better I feel when I simply move like that - why the struggle to do it???

Anyhow Cat - how are you doing?

Hey Picman

I'm doing okay, can't say great, but not terrible either. Just kind of holding steady. Still crazy with work, school clinical and the kids...but I have only 10 weeks left of school, I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Glad you are making some positive changes....I know what you mean re: exercise. Everytime I do it I think why don't I do this more often???? It is just the getting started that is hard.

Hey there!

Sounds like you are trying to get into a groove!! That is awesome. I know from experience, that once you are in it, you feel better and want to do it, then for some reason or another...POOF! We stop for a day or two and then keep telling ourselves that we will get back to it. Then we beat ourselves up over it. Then we maybe eat too much. Then we feel useless. BUT...then we start over. Keep on going. Sometimes I do the exercise programs that are on cable. There is a health and wellness channel. You can do a mile walk in 20 minutes. See if you might have that. Glad to see that you are still on. Take care of yourself. 1/2

Picman

Hi picman, I haven't been on the board in a while but I do remember you from a long time ago. I know what you mean about the weight problem, I have recently gained 12 lbs, due to med change, but I'll deal with the weight because mentally I feel much better.

Checking in...yuckyyyyy

I'm not doing very well. The last 3 wks have been really rough. Between FM flare, CFS, a bout of the flu, and out of balance premenopausal hormones, I've had some very scary days.

I keep hoping to feel better, but I was in bed w my heating pad most of the day today:(
