Ready to give up....
|
I am severly depressed, my mother attempted suicide a week ago, my brother was nearly beaten to death by a childhood friend a month ago, my daughter almost died from pneumonia, my dr is ignoring my own personal health concerns (lymphatic problems in my neck and jaw) I have been out of my ADD meds for almost a week and they are not returning my calls. I am on the verge of being kicked out of my college for missed time. I feel like I am loosing my mind. I tried to call to see a psychiatrist, but most places are closed right now. I have just had it at this point. All I can do is cry. even 20mg of valium isn't helping. I can't sleep, I can't eat. I really don't know what to do anymore.

I was going to suggest you go to your local ER and check in for an evaluation but Cat Doc has given you some excellent resources. There is help out there and you need it. Too much for one person to deal with, and all at once. Let us know how you make out.

Hang on tightly!

I know that things are not looking good right now, but think of it this way...you have your daughter! They are on the mend. Thank the good Lord. Double up on your Valium. It will not hurt you. At least until you can get to see someone. If you are having these thoughts, PLEASE, go somewhere right away. To an ER. Anywhere. Call your DR and tell them. They will not turn you away. You can do it. Life is funny. As quickly as it turns "bad", it can turn "good" again. You care. You can not do this to your daughter. You are seeking help. Run and find it. Good luck and check back in. 1/2
