type 2diabetes/fibro/chronic fatigue

re: autoimmune diseases ,in my experiences i have layers of illnesses...beginning with much physical trauma, then fibro/cfs,osteo arthritis, now type2diabetes. I can deal with the chronic pain much better if I could sleep!I have taken antidepressants for the depression, but the down side was tremendous wgt.gain. It seems any meds.I take, end up being a two-edged sword. The ONLY thing that seems to help with the chronic pain is EXERCISE! I daily use my recumbent bike and also walk one>two miles per day. If I do not exercise ,I am in much more pain. Of course Im still exhausted!

This may help.

Here is link to the Institute for Molecular Medicine and if you take the time to read the information I think you may it very helpful. A lot of it is pretty scientific but most people will be able to make sense of it.

jan- Similar conditions

Hi, am type 2, diagnosed abt 2 yrs ago. Have besides the Diabetes, Fibro, Osteoporosis in left hip ( can one have it in only one area ? ), Low Thyroid, HBP,and Scoliosis, L-4 back surgery.
Even tho my daily numbers seem to be within an acceptable range, and i was told testing was negative as to Arthritis, I have developed in the last few months, burning in fingers, feet and an odd burning in my back ( like fine threads that burn ) but these are for the most part at night after I lay down and of course the result is that I cannot sleep or am awake off and on all night.
Do you have anything like this ? Right now am in Physical Therapy for a shoulder problem. Tho this does not seem directly associated with the Diabetes ( and Therapists do not suggest it is. ) it has also come on in the last couple of months.
I am not on any med for the Diabetes and am trying to control it with diet and exercise, tho probably not doing the best I could do , find exercise vy boreing.
