Dr had me put on a Climara patch (.075mg, it's the one you change out for a new one once a week) the night before the surgery, he said at my age (35) my body would know the difference right away when he toke the ovaries out.

Well it's been 3 days now and I still feel OK. I don't feel like my ovaries are gone. Well I really feel better, my headaches are gone and my skin is clearing up. Yes at 35 I still had bad acne.

So glad you are okay and the surgery went well. And now you rest up and recover. Happy New Year and I LOVED it after having a hysterectomy and I had gone in hemorrhaging so they did the hysterectomy for me. None of this stuff that you don't feel like a woman any more--baloney, I felt terrific when I recovered and I wore pastel skirts and slacks all during the winter BECAUSE I NOW COULD. I WAS WOMAN, YOU COULD HEAR ME ROAR AFTER THAT SURGERY!!!

I certainly hope your experience is as good as mine as well. I have never missed the ole baby box or the ovaries. 13 years without them and it has been MARVELOUS!!! I watch my peers go through their monthly stressors and mood swings and I am so grateful not to be going through that any more.
