Advice? My mom needs help

My mom has been on hormones for many years and has been told that she needs to stop taking them because of the risk of cancer. She lives in Germany now and her new doc refused to give them to her. She is very upset because her hair started falling out. She has huge bald spots. She works in the military hospital and her friend who is a doctor gave her a prescription until she can find another doc. I don't think my mom will care about her hair if she ends up getting cancer. What kind of natural supplements could my mom start taking to prepare her body to stop the hormones? Is there anything she can do to prevent the hair loss? She is taking vitamin D and I told her to start a multi. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been off synthetic hormones for many yrs

and I'm 71 soon. I've been taking DHEA for many years and you might want to read up on DHEA online. I don't know if DHEA is available in Germany. Check it out. I just posted here today on hormones. jam

Hi

I cannot take hormones because my mother's side of the family runs heavily with breast cancer. My HMO doctor tried me with Black Cohosh years ago and the migraines were tremendous. I then started using that Silk Soy milk. The Silk Soy milk seemed to work at least for me--and what works for me, does not mean it will work for others. I do have hypothryoidism (since found with a goiter in 1977) and the Silk Soy Milk has not impacted my thyroid and my thryoid has been kept in check with Synthroid since 1977.

I know a doc that could help

My daughter had started having difficulty after her first pregnancy.
I know of a doctor that is a physicist with effective remedies that worked for my daughter, myself, my friend that has a wife with depression, etc. I would be glad to share the contact info with you; just email me at: smcpelkey@yahoo.com. I want to make sure I stay within the guidelines of this message board. Sarah
