Hyoscyamine, I just take it "as needed" because I go from one extreme to the other so I just take it been I'm on the loss side of things and it seams to work really well with just one dose.

I'm on the same as mom2many and I also am instructed to take it as needed. But it doesn't always work well enough for me.

Same here - been taking it for awhile. I take as needed. Sometimes it helps and sometimes it doesn't. I would go and talk to my doctor but since I know that it helps my IC, I just stick with this as I'm on a lot of medicines as it is.

Have any of you heard of Kapidex? it is a new drug out that is time release and it is suppose to be simular to an antiacid but it helps IBS patients?

I am an IBS Patient that bas for years suffered from sever pain and nausia and all that and the doctor's couldn't find something that worked just right. Kapidex seems to be working pretty well as a prevetitive measure.
I am hopeful that it will prevent me from having to look forward to surgery of that type in the furture.
Kapidex, however is new out on the market and as of yet does not have a generic.
