Just a question---can the constipation cause your Urethrea ( because of pressure ) to burn or that area to feel as if you have a Bladder Infection starting? I have had problems with bladder infections for 40 years and usually can tell if thats what it is by the physical feeling plus the look of the Urine etc. However,more recently with the contiued constipation am having a burning at the opening of the urethrea, aching at side of my abdomen up to the waist and back ache. The last time I had lab work to determine if there was an infection, it showed non. This has started again a good 3 mo. later with same symptoms except am now having neumerous BM's most similar to the samller ones except and burning rectally as if there is a lot of acid. Also for several weeks have had a gold colored Mucus which is usually a cream color. Wondering if the color change could indicate an infection somewhere ?
