Dec 17 CFIDS Assoc. Webinar on Blood XMRV Working Group Progress to Be Archived Soon

  [ 8 votes ]   [ 1 Comment ] • December 16, 2010

The Dec 17 CFIDS Assoc. Webinar described below is now concluded and will soon be archived as a video at

The CFIDS Association of America hosted a Webinar & Q&A on the Blood XMRV Working Group's Progress on Friday, Dec 17. By way of background:
One Year Ago, the federal Dept. of Health & Human Services charged a “Blood XMRV Scientific Research Working Group” (SRWG) with determining whether and to what extent XMRV might pose a threat to blood supply safety.

The Group Undertook a 4-Phase Project to establish test procedures that can be universally considered reliable standards, and determine what proportion of blood donors may test positive for XMRV.

The SRWG presented an update on their progress at the FDA’s Dec 14 Blood Products Advisory Committee meeting. And because the presentation was not broadcasted, two SRWG members have agreed to explain their findings and plans internationally via a CFIDS Assoc. webcast on Dec 17. They will also answer selected questions that have been submitted to them.

The Webinar Presenters are University of California-San Francisco immunologist Dr. Graham Simmons, PhD, and virologist Dr. Michael Busch, MD, PhD, director of the Blood Systems Research Institute in San Francisco.

To Watch the Archived Video Later. All CFIDS Assoc. webinars are archived for viewing at

xmrv is total monetary hype...

also hystamine drugs are also another monetary all studies lately done on cfs water intake was always far as chiari is concerned in cfs/fibro it is proof that the brain, skull and spine are in a dehydrated state and can fully be corrected with water/celtic sea salt regular daily consumptions. avoid coffee, tea.alcohol, juices and even chocolate as these are all dehydrants.even i now strongly believe that hiv does not cause aids and aids is also another dehydrated state and the iranian doctor even confronted dr. luc montagnier on this issue.i am sure that xmrv and hiv are total pharma monetary hoaxes. i know this sounds crazy but is a very plausible theory that warrants serious investigations. i am not knocking dr. dan peterson because he has fought very long and hard for us but years back he was one to say hhv-6 could be a cause. i think money should be put immediately into the water cure theory in cfs/fibro and stop giving patients useless toxic drugs and hystamine pharma pure hoaxes. maybe that will rattle the nih and close their doors for good. what a day that would be...let the water/celtic salt trials begin and throw your useless table salt in the garbage. sincerely, aidan walsh southampton, u.k. p.s. god bless all who are sick around the world and may god walk beside you all in your troubled times...merry xmas and health in 2011...
