I suffer with CFS and FM. I have been a member of the [ImmuneSupport.com] CFIDS/FMS and Worship message boards since October 2005. I will admit that at the beginning I did not have a clue what a tremendous impact this would have on my life. Joining the ProHealth community is the single most important step I have taken on my road to wellness.
Currently I am 90 percent housebound, worse than I've ever been in the eight years since my diagnosis. But the difference is that now I am hopeful. I've not been able to find helpful medical care. I realize that I present an undesirable challenge to most doctors. In my area of the United States, the medical community is at least 20 years behind in care and research in FM and CFS.
ProHealth's message boards, informational links, and newsletters make me feel less alone. I have just started taking ProHealth's supplements. Being a member makes me feel like I am part of a family who cares for one another and who can truly identify with my daily suffering.
I just want to say thank you for your research, for sharing your knowledge, for giving me a place to share my feelings and experiences, to ask and answer questions, for giving me new friends and for so much more.
Above all, thank you for giving me HOPE that one day I will wake up without pain, that I will be able to walk from my bed to the bathroom without reaching for my cane, hope that I'll have energy, a clear mind and no memory loss after a night of refreshing sleep... oh, I could go on and on.
