Online Nutrition Studies

I am taking an online college course on nutrition in January. I am going to eat better, juice a lot, and take my vitamins and supplements daily. I will also get back to the indoor pool. - Lynna

Control Disordered Sleep

…My resolution is to be more productive. I'm going to establish a healthy sleep habit. Go to bed at a regular time and get up when the alarm goes off. (Hmmm, can I set this for noon?) Get up, eat, feed the chihuahuas and take care of chores, bills, etc. remembering to pace myself along the way…Sounds lofty for me, but I only have to try…I'm hoping the key here is to pace myself. – xchocoholic

Putting Off Procrastination

  1. To eat better and better, on a continually upward incline toward at least 80 percent raw [foods] and juicing;
  2. To procrastinate tomorrow... (as if my procrastination doesn't have anything to do with the fatigue/fog/lethargy I feel today!);
  3. To not let reality interfere with my dreams – got to keep dreaming my dreams; and, last but not least,
  4. To get on with second phase of MP [Marshall Protocol] finally and not let “life” interfere so much!
– Victoria

Inspired to Be Thankful

I am going to try every day to be thankful that I am alive and able to get up when so many others can't do the same. I have a friend whose mother is an inspiration to me. She has MS and has been bedridden for nearly 10 years. She hasn't walked since I was a child and yet, no matter how bad her pain or how uncomfortable she is, she always asks how I am doing and how I am feeling….Last night, we had our Christmas with her and her main concerns were whether everyone had a place to sit to visit with her and if we were hungry. She never thinks of herself first. My hope for the new year is to be as grateful a woman as she is. – Stinker56

Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff

I have a few resolutions: First, to stop eating the things that make me sick. Second, to start slowly building up my fitness, even if it's just a five-minute walk a day. Third, have a happier outlook. There is nothing so important that I have to stress out about it. If there were, I know I have people to turn to who will make it not as stressful. I’d also like to have a part-time job by the end of the year. – evol

I have CFIDS and am doing research. Was it easy to get disability benefits? What do you do all day if you don't have a "traditional" job? (I am too sick to read so I watch tv all day and feel like I have a wasted life.) So I'm conducting this research. Tell me your story. Email me at susanfrei@gmail.com or write to: Susan Frei 9 University Road East Brunswick, NJ 08816 All letters will be kept confidential or you can send it in anonymously as long as the facts are true. You will be helpng me and I will be collecting these to put together to get a message out to the world. I'm a social worker who doesn't practice anymore. Thank you. Susan
