The 3rd annual International ME/CFS Conference, hosted by the UK Charity Invest in ME, will take place on 23rd May 2008 in London http://tinyurl.com/ytwgzd
The aim of the conference is to build on the research of previous years, and raise awareness of myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME/CFS) and the necessity for a comprehensive, national and international biomedical research strategy for ME/CFS.
Theme and World Expert Speakers
The 2008 conference – with its focus on Sub Grouping of/Treatments for ME/CFS - will inform delegates of the current situation regarding definition, diagnosis and treatment of ME/CFS. Speakers will include the most renowned ME/CFS experts in the world. CPD-accreditation is pending and the full day agenda will be published shortly.

Dr. John Chia, MD - Infectious Disease Medicine specialist practicing in Torrance, California, USA.
Dr. Martin Lerner, MD - Infectious Disease Specialist at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Michigan, USA.
Dr. Jonathan Kerr, MD, PhD - "Sir Joseph Hotung Senior Lecturer in Inflammation" at St. George's University of London and Consultant in Microbiology in the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine – UK.
Dr. Julia Newton, PhD - Senior Lecturer at the Institute of Cellular Medicine, Newcastle University, UK.
Dr. Judy Mikovits, PhD - Research Director at the Whittemore-Peterson Institute for Neuro-immune diseases in Nevada, USA.
Dr. Irving Spurr, MD - a GP and chairman of the John Richardson Research Group, UK.
