Sep 19 update: Today, until 11:59:59 PM Eastern time, is the last day of voting. By 9:00 Eastern time, Neuro Immune Disease Alliance had garnered 2272 votes (vote for them here Neuro Immune Disease Alliance (NIDA)), and Phoenix Rising an NEID Corporation had 1466 votes (vote for them here Phoenix Rising an NEID Corporation). Both are still on the "Leaderboard" list of 196 highest-vote charities. At 9:00 PM the last organization, #196, had 1206 votes.
ABOUT THE CONTEST: The Chase Community Giving contest has a lot of money ($5 million) to give as grants to the 196 charities in their eligible nominated organizations list that get the most Facebook member votes before Midnight Eastern time Wed, September 19. Right now only two organizations serving people with neuro-immune illnesses are in the running - Neuro Immune Disease Alliance (NIDA) and Phoenix Rising an NEID Corporation. For links to vote for them see below.
If you are a registered Facebook member you can vote for two of the listed charities. (Chase customers get a second set of two votes.)
And if you share a link to a charity by clicking a button (Like, Tweet, Send or Copy) - and by doing that get someone else to vote - you will earn a bonus vote that you can use for any organization; even one you have already voted for.
TO GET STARTED, go to the contest Facebook page
(http://apps.facebook.com/ChaseCommunityGiving)
• Click "allow application" so that you can vote,
• And search for organizations by name or key words.
PLEASE VOTE FOR THE TWO WITH A CHANCE TO WIN. At this time, two organizations advocating for people with neuro-immune illnesses are still in the top 196 – the Neuro Immune Disease Alliance (NIDA) and Phoenix Rising an NEID Corporation. Don't let it drop off the list!
To find the list of the top 196 ranked by current number of votes, click on “Leaderboard” in the blue menu bar at the top of the Chase Giving page.

Thanks for posting the contest info! Phoenix Rising is NOT safe! NIDA could slip down to $10,000! Please vote if you haven't done so already through Facebook and/or Chase, use your bonus vote, and ask others to vote. Let's lock in the $30,000 for ME/CFS! Thank you to everyone in the U.S. and around the world who has helped with this contest!
