Dear subscriber: We will be discontinuing our Tip of the Day emails as of Friday July 9th, and encourage you – if you aren’t already a subscriber - to sign up for our weekly email news bulletin by clicking here: ImmuneSupport Bulletin Signup, which will include a helpful “Tip of the Week” along with invaluable health and treatment news. We appreciate your support of our daily tips, and hope you will continue to make us your health information resource. Sincerely, The ProHealth Team

Today's Tip: FMS may begin with a chronically overactivated stress-cortisol state. Over time, as the system gradually "tires," a low cortisol response to stress may be produced. In turn, continuing stressors may increase the release of certain cytokines (chemical messengers between cells) that cause pain, fatigue, cognitive impairment, and other problems, while inhibiting the cytokines that promote positive functions such as sleep and tissue repair.
