What: Fibromyalgia Workshop: The Next Advances
When: November 11-12, 2004
Where: Washington, D.C.

Joint collaboration between the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) and National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIH/NIAMS) together with leading scientists and researchers will be presenting latest findings and exploring future ideas to advance our understanding of Fibromyalgia. A key integrative focus of the workshop is on the role of non-nociceptive/central pain. This will be a forum for an attempt to integrate and cross fertilize biological and psychosocial-behavioral-environmental research and energize the interdisciplinary research agenda to lead to the next major advances in the field. The meeting is open to all interested person (clinicians, scientists, patients, patient advocacy representatives, industry). Continuing Education is available: This activity has been approved for AMA PRA credit.
