ProHealth is pleased to announce an upcoming Live Chat Q&A with Suzanne Vernon, PhD – a noted virologist and now a leading figure in the worldwide ME/CFS research community as Scientific Director of the CFIDS Association of America.
The Time and Place: Friday, Nov 14, 3-4 pm Pacific Time in the ProHealth.com Community Chat Rooms http://www.prohealth.com/chat/index.cfm New to Chat? You may register now.
Who is Dr. Suzanne Vernon?
Less than one year ago, Dr. Vernon left an enviable career with the CDC’s prolific ME/CFS gene and pathogen research team to take a position with the CFIDS Association – a nonprofit patient advocacy organization that funds research but “doesn’t have huge cash reserves or a big endowment.” The reason? A conviction that, together, she and the Association could fund and muster a global collaboration of ME/CFS research capabilities to deliver groundbreaking results at unprecedented speed.
2009 Research Program to Be Announced Soon – Stay Tuned
