I strongly urge all interested in XMRV to read the in depth question & answer session with Dr. Mikovits in the above PDF. The discussion addresses many areas of confusion and misinterpretation.

Also please note that the use of CCC is not a typo for CDC; it is the acronym for the Canadian Consensus Criteria. Clearly, as it was used in this study, the CCC is able to be operationalized. It just requires the willingness of the scientists to use them.
