Bruce Campbell Webinar on Pacing to Minimize Holiday Relapses - Nov 18

Webinar – Thurs, Nov 18 at 1-2:30 PM Eastern (10 AM Pacific)

Health educator Bruce Campbell, PhD will be featured presenter in a CFIDS Assoc.-sponsored webinar Thurs, Nov 18. (A webinar is a conference held via phone & Internet. You hear the presentation on your phone and see the presenter's slides via the web. To sign up go to http://cfids.org/cfidslink/2010/040703.asp)

Dr. Campbell will share many insights and practical ‘how-to’ information on ways those with ME/CFS/FM and other chronic illnesses can manage their activities to enjoy the holidays and other special events - without days, weeks or months of payback.

These are insights Dr. Campbell has gleaned through his years directing a series of online patient self-help courses via his CFIDS & Fibromyalgia Self-Help website (see www.cfidsselfhelp.org), and his own experience identifying & refining the strategies that helped him return to better health - and stay there - after debilitation with ME/CFS.

Dr. Campbell & Dr. Lapp Team Up

In addition to the CFIDS & Fibromyalgia Self-Help website, Dr. Campbell recently partnered with his colleague, Dr. Charles Lapp, MD, to create the new “Treating CFS & FM” website (www.treatcfsfm.org).

The two sites complement each other, Dr. Campbell says, in that one site is centered around group interaction and sharing, and the new site offers “a step-by-step system” for people who prefer to learn and improve “on their own.”

For details on Dr. Campbell’s Nov 18 Pacing Seminar and to sign up, see http://cfids.org/cfidslink/2010/040703.asp. And to view a video of this and many other past CFIDS Assoc. webinars, visit the Solve CFS YouTube archive at http://www.youtube.com/solvecfs
