Olga Naidenko, Senior Scientist with the Environmental Working Group, shares the results of the organization’s study of U.S. drinking water that found Chromium-6, a probable carcinogen, in the drinking water of 31 U.S. cities. Chromium-6 is the chemical that was made famous by the Erin Brockovich case.
Hexavalent Chromium-6 is chromium in an oxidation state, a byproduct of many industrial processes, a compound in leather products, and apparently a landfill pollutant courtesy of discarded computers. Not to be confused with Chromium-3, a bioactive mineral found in basic food groups that is essential in trace amounts for human health.
And find your area on the EWG's color-coded map of hexavalent chromium (chromium-6) levels in tap water in the US . (Red dots indicate EWG’s 35 test sites – 25 of which tested above likely carcinogenic levels. Color shaded areas represent average concentrations by county based on state water agencies’ testing data.)
Within days of the report’s release, EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson announced new actions to detect chromium-6 contamination in US drinking water.
Actually, it is horrifying how little control we have over the water we must take into your bodies!

BPA, Flouride, Chromium-X, Estrogen, it goes on and on.
The government needs to take these pollutants and toxins seriously and make the cleanup effort a national priority.
Between forced flouridation, HRT/Birth Control Pill waster water reclamation and the host of metal and chemical pollutants, we are now impacting multiple generations of people for perhaps hundreds of years. It's criminal.
Here is just one set of studies on Flouride:
