PODCAST: Interview with ME/CFS Patient Crusader Rik Carlson

“I got sick in a heartbeat” on January 2, 1995, and “virtually didn’t get out of bed for the next 5 years,” Rik begins. Here is the story of how his struggles with ME/CFS turned him into a crusader for physician education and informed diagnosis & treatment. Rik has led the Vermont CFIDS Association (www.vtcfids.org) for many years; recently co-produced the CFS documentary INVISIBLE; and is greatful that he's now able to work some hours a week at a small Vermont country market.
