Whether you’re in a restaurant or getting take out, the portions you receive are often so large you can’t finish your meal. Typical restaurant servings are often twice the size of a single serving. When you’re dinning out, try asking for half a serving, or request a “doggy bag” and save the extra portion for another meal. If you’re eating fast food, keep the portions regular and small. Never order “double” anything, and don’t super-size your fries or cola, those are just extra calories that can expand your waistline.
