Flexibility is one of the three essentials for fitness (along with aerobic exercise and muscle conditioning) and pain control. In other words, if less pain is your goal, you will need to stretch. And you will need to stretch correctly to get the most relief. Stretching, when done right, feels good. It’s calming, centering, and connecting. It doesn’t have to cost anything, has almost immediate benefits, and can be done anywhere.
