oral lichen planus

Anyone here ever had this ? I just found out that i have it and am concerned about how long it will last. I've had blistering in my upper mouth,blue/black lesions on my cheeks and tongue.
Most of the blisters are healing now . (its a little over two weeks) . I'm not to worried but I'd like to be able to taste food again. My mouth is still numb and taste like metal.
The good thing is that this is great for weight loss. Also I know now what the cause is for the blistering on my hand, back, feet I get from time to time (during flare ups).

Been gargling with peroxide and taking lysine it seems to be helping . But I just want it be over with. I hate flares.

anyone else dealt with this????

D.

I don't know much about it,

I've been diagnosed with Fibro back in 2006. Over the years I've gotten these weird little blisters (bubbles) on the soles of my feet. Never went to a doc about it though. As of lately I've had blisters on my left palm, that are extremely ITCHY. I hope your mouth gets better! I've also had some weird tongue stuff going on lately........I just attribute it to Fibro???

I have had lichenplanus for over 3 years now. It has never went away competely. Had alot of soreness with white lesions. Has gotten much better now with some different supplements I started about three weeks ago. Complex B,zinc, vit.D,probiotics, silver liquid, and silvergel. Biggest defference is when I started the bcomplex, zinc, vitD. Also have been taking betaglucans. How painful is yours?

it turned out that I may not have lupus after all . My sores are do to another problem . Mine do come and go but they are very painful for a week or so. The lysine works pretty well for me. My doctors are still trying to find out why I'm getting these sore because they are no normally relate to my RA but may be cause from my stomach problems.
