I have been SUFFERING from Yeast infections ,prior to now i have had one or 2 yeast infections in my life,currently i feel like i have had one continuous battle with one! I have been on plaquinil for a couple years recently i have begun in the process of reducing the dose and July 31 will be my last pill. During the reduction of meds i have gone thru periods of time that i feel my symptoms have increased ,i have been on the verge of flaring up several times ,i have had rashes with the arrival of summer and stress is affecting me for sure, i have noticed the drying effects of sjogrens has increased and am wondering if dry gurl area,with reduction of meds could be causing this yeast infection??? What are your experiences with this??? Any advise would be greatly appreciated

You have my sympathy. I have sjogrens and suffer many ways with it. Yeast infections respond well to Diflucon a RX from your doctor. Yeast infections are often from an imbalance due to taking antibiotics. My doctor just leaves me with Diflucan if I ever take antibiotics. My sjogrens leaves me with bladder infections, so I do take alot of antibiotics.
