Maybe??

I can't really say if I have lupus or not but I've had some symptoms for quite awhile now....pretty much for a few years? I can't remember exactly..I just brushed them off because they would come and go. But I do have things that are in my family...one being lupus-my cousin has. My mom told me I should bring my symptoms up to the doctor which I'm considering, I just don't' want to look all crazy with my long list of symptoms. I just recently switched DR's and I have only seen this new doctor once and I haven't gotten a feel for him yet. My old doctor wasn't bad but I wasn't really fond of him(or so much the others in the practice as well) but my old dr has seen me since my teen days..anyways sorry I'm rambling. I'm just curious if any of these symptoms are what some of you experienced in the beginning? I plan on bringing it up to my DR, I'm just wondering what you all think.

As far as I can remember I have been tired. No matter how much or how little sleep I get, I always feel tired. I'm not sure when it started..I did have a blood transfusion back in 04 but I remember even in high school my mom had me tested for anemia-which came back fine. I guess I've always felt tired. That's the persistent one, that's pretty much always there. Another is the rash on my face. I never paid much attention to it, assumed it was a skin thing, it appears to be "butterfly" shaped. And than some of my symptoms that come and ago-some more recent than others are:

Tired
Rash
Pain in my back moving into my ribs-mainly right. I just had a u/s done with the new DR and that came back fine.
Pain in my left knee that comes in goes.
Chest pains(had a cardio u/s done once and that came back fine)
Shortness of breath/faint
I've been to the ER a couple times for really bad cramps in my legs(on the pill so had to be safe) and all they said was low potassium both times.
Stomach discomfort
Headaches
Tingly cold face after sweets
I just started clinching my jaw recently resulting in jaw pain
nausea that comes and goes as well
bruising easily-mainly my legs
a couple recent small skin tags? I'm guessing that' what they are.
Past few days sore spot on bottom left foot

That's pretty much the jist of it. There's probably a couple more I'm forgetting but this is pretty much what comes and goes-aside from the rash and fatigue always being there. I plan on bringing it to the doctor, I just figured it was normal since they always ended up going away. I feel silly with the big list. Anyways, I know you guys aren't doctors, just curious on your thoughts. Thanks.

Lupus

Symptoms for lupus can be all over the place. It depends on what you body decides to reject. And with autoimmune diseases it seems like it is not uncommon to have more then one. I would check here: (http://www.lupus.org/newsite/pages/body_tool.aspx) I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks

Thanks. I guess I just thought I would get some insight. My mom has told me to bring up my symptoms(not separately) but all together on a list and see what the dr says. I just figured it was normal and put it off for so long now. Anyways thanks the link.
