I've been thinking about buying one of those canister steam cleaner machines--the kind that you can use on your cabinets, bathtub, floor, everything (not just the steam mop kind). It'd be nice to have a good way to clean without chemicals. Plus, when I was an exchange student in France, my host mom had one and it was really cool.

Does anyone else have one, or have a brand/model recommendation?

I've had one for years, it's brilliant. Mine's a Polti.


The only problem is the handle has to be held down on mine in order to let the steam out, which hurts my hands after a while.
