We are waiting for our new HE washer to be delivered. Now I have to find a new laundry detergent. You can only use HE (high efficiency) detergent in these new front loaders.
I was using detergent w/ no dye, no perfume in my old regular top loader. I have not seen any of the HE detergents on store shelves that are like that - they all seem to have a scent. Actually, I can't go down the detergent aisle without a reaction - I end up with a migraine. Another family member shops for detergents (now, unscented!) & cleaning products.
I'm looking for suggestions for an HE detergent that is perfume free, dye free -hopefully one that does not cost too much!
Anyone have a front loader? I've heard that you should dissolve powder in warm water & put it directly in machine, not in detergent dispenser? Powder or liquid? Powder is supposedly more cost efficient?
