What produces do you like that are safe.......

I like Seventh Generation baby laundry soap, it seams to clean better than the regular laundry soap. I also like Seventh Generation fabric softener (the unscented one). Right now I'm using Seventh Generation glass cleaner and there all purpose cleaner. I like Ecover cream scrub, it great for cleaning the bath tub and my glass cook top but also LOVE Shaklee scour off heavy duty paste. I just got Dr. Bronner's Sal Suds, I haven't used it but once but it seams good. All my boys (6 of them) and my DH use Dr. Bronner's magic soap (liquid) for there hair and body, my DD uses it only on her body. I use Dr. Bonner's magic soap (bar) on my body. DD and I use Free & Clear shampoo and I use Free & Clear hair spray. I love Bare Minerals make-up. If I think of more stuff I'll post it.

Kiss My Face hand soap. DHC face washing powder (I love this stuff) and they have Silky Cotton Pads, if you find plan cotton balls irritate you than try these. California Baby Super Sensitive Everyday Lotion and there SPF18 No Fragrance Sunscreen (but it's only in a SPF of 18). La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water, I love to spray this on my face to keep it from getting irritated, I also spray it on top of my make-up when I put it on. It's also great for "healing", like if you get a sunburn. I even use it on my legs after shaving sometimes. Seventh Generation toilet paper, I can't use the regular stuff in the stores. We have a cat and I can't handle the dust of the litter so we got the Tidy Cat Breeze little box, I LOVE it. There is almost NO smell. I use Citrus Magic powder on the pee pad to help keep the smell down and the Citrus Magic spray on the litter pellets once a week and on the carpet around the box.

I'm not sure how to say how bad my MCS is. I can handle going out in public as long as I'm not close to anyone that "smells". There are stores I can't go too, and stores I can't go to alone (like a mall near use I get "spacey" and DH has to tell me it's time to leave). I can't have any chemicals in my house. I just got a new van not long ago and it didn't give me headaches after about the 3rd week, we did air it out as much as we could. The other thing is I always have a headache so it could be from all the chemicals around me and I'm worst than I think I am.

I look for products that...
|
have the least amount of ingredients (chemicals) and use more natural ingredients. Dr. Bronner's seems to be the best ones I can use for personal hygiene. I like Seventh Generation. I can get by with using the Costco plain laundry detergent as it doesn't smell bad. However, the Kirkland's concentrate fabric softner stinks horribly! I look for anything unscented as much as possible. I don't have problems with the white vinegar. My mom had RA for many years, she couldn't stand the smells and would get 'spacey' so I know what you mean by those feelings. Headaches aren't exactly too bad at times either except when the 'smells' are more overpowering than normal. Take care... :-)
