A Question Regarding Vitamins

Awhile ago, my doctor recommended a B6-Complex to me. Is this something you would take in addition to a daily multiple vitamin? Would taking both of them be too much? I know I should have asked her at the time. Now I could never get her to speak to me on the telephone about something this 'trivial' since she has those shark women screening her calls!!

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks--Laura

what i take is

Rainbow Light Active Senior multi's, one per day. And I take Complete B-Complex by Rainbow Light (2 per day). Says take 3, but I do a little bit of B's in the multi. But, what I do, is take the multi one day, and the B complex one day. I alternate with them. Just my thinking on taking them. I like Rainbow Light products as they are food based.

Oh you said B6, yes I do take 100 mg B6 capsule per day. Dr. David Williams suggests that B6 will help with joints and recommends a 3-month trial. So far nothing spectacular with the joints but the B6 isn't hurting either.

Sorry Jam...

I mistakenly typed B6 complex, I meant B-complex. But you answered both!!

I honestly didn't know about the importance of food based vitamins. I read about it last evening after I read your post, and I think I will try them when my almost empty jar of the other kind is finished. I checked the website for my local Vitamin Shoppe, and the Rainbow Light seems reasonably priced. I mentioned the importance of food based to my husband when he came home, and he is going to check the GNC where he purchases his vitamins. Thanks so much for the info--truly appreciated.

Peace--Laura
