Thank you to the May 12th - International ME/CFS & FM Awareness Day Facebook Team for initially posting this information.

Every evening beginning at dusk, the Niagara Falls are lit in the colors of the rainbow.  However, they are also sometimes lit in special colors for 15 minutes at a time to support different charitable causes.

Tonight, May 12, 2013, both Falls will be illuminated for 15 minutes each in the awareness colors for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and Multiple Chemical Sensitivities.  The schedule is:

May 12 Niagara Falls Illumination Schedule
Time Awareness Event Color
 9:45 - 10:00 pm EST  ME/CFS  Blue
 10:15 - 10:30 pm EST  Fibromyalgia  Purple
11:00 - 11:15 pm EST  Multiple Chemical Sensitivities  Green

The Niagara Falls Website does note, “Illumination times are approximate and subject to change according to light conditions.”

You can watch this event live on the Niagara Falls Webcam.
