VIDEO: Dr. Oz on His Green Coffee Extract Weight Loss Experiment

The Dr. Oz Show’s Medical Unit enlisted 100 women, ages 25 to 45 for a placebo controlled trial. They report that the women taking 400 mg green coffee extract 4 times a day without changing any other factor, including exercise/activity or food intake, lost an average of 2 pounds in the first two weeks without any apparent negative effects. Dr. Mehmet Oz, MD, reviews other trials suggesting even more impressive results, and some of the metabolic mechanisms researchers believe are involved.

Dear ProHealth Readers,

Do your research. After I watched the Dr. Oz episode with regards to the Green Coffee Extract Diet, I did my own research. Very few lost weight. Dr. Oz explains "specifically" what kind of Green Coffee Extract to look for. A lot of people look for the "cheapest" Brands. As you know, not all Brands are created equal. You get what you pay for, and, they don't work. If you want to give this Diet a good shot, you MUST buy the correct product. Most of those who purchased the correct Green Coffee Extract, and followed the "exact" directions on the Green Coffee Extract, still did NOT lose any weight. There are those who lost a little. I tend to think it's the "Placebo" effect. On his show, those who took the Placebo lost 1/2 the amount of weight as those who took the Green Coffee Extract. Just do your homework and don't be disappointed. It sounds like "The Green Coffee Extract Diet" is just another Fad Diet with little to no weight loss results. Best Of Luck!
