MECFS Alert Co-host Llewellyn King continues his interview with Dr. Andreas Kogelnik, MD, PhD, director of the Open Medicine Institute and Clinic for chronic fatigue syndrome and other neuroimmune diseases in Mountain View, CA (about 40 miles south of San Francisco). The OMI is already managing 1,000-some ME/CFS/FM patients, and actively identifying and directing trials of novel, high-tech diagnostic and treatment ideas (such as a rituximab trial) – via an international network of clinical, research, and industry partners. The network, including US Drs. Kogelnik, Lapp, Bateman, Podell, Peterson, and others will meet in New York City this June to refine plans for 2012.
