I just got my first order of the generic Imitrex through my HMO and for 100 mg., 9 tablets, I paid $5. It is called "Dr. Reddy's" Sumatriptan Succinate Tablets. When the prescription tabulation comes in at the end of the month, it will tell that I paid $5 and then tell how much the HMO paid, and the combination of the two will be the actual price. So I'll see the total price of this generic medication. But I'll bet they still will only let me have 9 pills per month!!!!

I found out that the full cost in my HMO for the generic Imitrex is $38--I only pay $5.

I wish I could take Imitrex, I have irregular heart rhythm. I've suffered for years with migrains. My eyes are so bad, I have to wear polorized prescription glasses now, light is so hard on me. Noise, you know, all that same ol same ol. I wear something in my ears when I go into big stores like WalMart.
