I thought I would post this here since there is a dedicated migraine board... Don't know why I didn't think of this sooner...

Something that worked wonders for me and my migraines was Depakote ER. My neurologist had put me on it after Topomax caused all sorts of side effects for me. With the Depakote ER I never had side effects of any sort and within a week of being on it my migraines disappeared. I was on it for 2 years and have now been off it for 2 years and didn't start having migraines again until about a month ago.

It may be something to try. Previous to the Depakote I also used Relpax (sp?) which I no longer needed once I was on the Depakote. I also had migraines at least 3 times a week before the depakote and this went on for 2 years before I found something that worked.
