Neurologist diagnosed me with Migraines ?????

Just diagnosed with miagraines after the neurologist ordered a spinal tap and MRI. My pupils stay very dilated and uneven. I lost my peripheral vision and then lost more sight in my right eye very abruptly. He said there is a lot of pressurein my skull and on my right eye. Sometimes it just drains tears, like i am crying. Before the MRI & Spinal tap results were back he was pretty sure I had bleeding on the brain, a brain tumor or Multiple Schlerosis. The migraine diagnosis just doesnt sit well with me. I dont know what else to do. Do Migraines cause vision loss?

Hi Michelle

A neurologist helps many of us and if you ask him/her, they can tell you the many symptoms that migraines can cause. Below is my post from the last group of migraines I had:

"I saw the neurologist today and he explained the migraines I have been getting for the past 2 1/2 weeks were with "nystagmus," which is when you feel like your eyes are just rolling around uncontrollably in your head and then I would lose my balance. He explained that it can happen with migraines. Never ever had it happen before, but had it happen these past two weeks every time I had a migraine. I didn't have a migraine today, but the neurologist did tests and I don't have the nystagmus at this moment and it was only happening during a migraine."

I've had migraines for 19 years, almost 20 years now, and never had that happen until that time. Migraines used to impact my vision and make it a bit blurry. But if you are having bleeding on the brain or a potential tumor, that could also be the cause. Take care and many hugs.
