Sinemet & Nausea

A relative, 89, has been diagnosed with Parkinson's. She tries to take Sinemet but it gives her awful nausea. She has lost some 14 pounds over the last year or so. I'm wondering does anyone have some suggestions on how to take Sinemet while minimizing the nausea? She has tried taking lower doses, and varying the proportion (10-100, 25-100) . Is a patch available? Would Parcopa help?
