Like fibromyalgia, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) is an invisible disease, with chronic pain one of its predominant symptoms. EDS, a genetic connective tissue disorder caused by structural deficiencies in collagen, affects more women than men. Again, like fibromyalgia, there is no cure.
