When: March 10-12, 2002
Where: Renaissance Hotel, Washington, D.C.
On March 10, the Arthritis Foundation will open the 2002 Advocacy Summit in Washington D.C. at the Renaissance Hotel. This three-day conference focuses on major public policy issues, such as increasing federal funding for arthritis research, promoting early diagnosis and treatment, and improving access to quality health care and medications.
During the summit, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about public policy issues affecting those with arthritis through meetings with national experts. Individuals in attendance will be directly involved in discussions to help shape the future of arthritis advocacy. On Tuesday, March 12, participants will take their voices directly to Capitol Hill and express their needs to Congressional representatives.
