evaluation include 6 domains [+ her recommended instruments,

(1) Fatigue [Multidimensional Assessment of Fatigue MAF*],

(2) Mood disturbance [General HealthQuestionnaire GHQ* for

community, add Diagnostic Interview Schedule DIS for clin

research, add the Beck Depression/Anziety Inventory BDI for

research project],

(3) Functional status [Medical Outcomes Study Short Form-36

MOSSF-36*],

(4) Sleep disturbance [Seattle Sleep Screener*; use Sleep

Disorders Questionnaire SDQ* for clin res & res project],

(5) Global well-being [Medical Outcomes Study Short Form-36

MOSSF-36*],

(6) Pain [Seattle Pain Inventory*/McGill]

She also advises adding:

(7) NeuroCognition [community: refer to neuropsychologist PRN;

for clin research add PASAT & NART; for Res Project add

PASAT/NART/Stroop/ Beck

She notes problems in (1) gold standards, (2) sensitivity to

change, (3) “bottoming out” or compression effect, (4)

frequency of use (poor recall after 1 month)
