Thanks, you have changed my life
I haven't been on the [ImmuneSupport.com] message board long, and already important changes are happening to improve my health. Thanks so much for creating this space for those of us who suffer from FM/CFIDS/FMP, etc. It helps so much to share health tips and fellowship with others who know just what you are talking about.
I appreciate you using what I know is precious energy to give back and help this community. Thanks too for your efforts at helping to raise awareness of our disorders. – Kim
New research in the new catalog
How can I get copies of the article in your Fall catalog – "It's Not in Your Head, It's in Your Blood" – referring to Dr. Kenny De Meirleir’s diagnostic test for low molecular weight RNase-L in the blood of CFS patients. I would like to send this to a few friends and family to explain about elastase, which appears to be responsible for the LMW RNase-L, because my elastase level is high. – Cheryl
Note: The Fall catalog stories are only available in print at this time, but it’s a simple matter to click on “Get Your Free Catalog” and have copies sent to interested friends or family members.
On browsing back issues
Please help! I just accidentally deleted my last FM newsletter and I need them both. Could you please resend mine, as I didn't even get the chance to read any of it. I look forward to them so much, and I promise to be more careful! – Mary
Note: You can always find back issues by going to ImmuneSupport.com, clicking on the E-Mail Bulletin tab at the top, and then on any date you want, scrolling down the page.
CFS subsequent to Human Parvovirus
Is there any way you can connect me with a doctor for my son who has been sick with CFS contracted from Human Parvovirus B19 for two years? We have consulted both traditional and nontraditional doctors. Many who say they are familiar with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome know very little. None of them know anything about Human Parvo. I have had better information from your Newsletter. – Barbara
Note: If you post such questions on the ImmuneSupport.com message board, indicating the region you live in, chances are some other participating patients and/or medical professionals will have insights you can use.
Full life on low energy
I have had CFIDS for 15 years. I have a really full life despite its limitations. I quilt, swim, belong to a local poetry workshop, garden, etc. There are lots of low-energy activities. – Anne
Loved this definition of “health”
I loved this definition from Dorland's Medical Dictionary. Health – "A state of optimal physical, mental and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity.” – Liz
Oh, those probiotics!
Eating organic yogurt and supplements containing probiotics (good bacteria ) has improved my health a great deal. I am sure I had leaky gut syndrome, or high candida, which has roots that cause leaky gut. – Jerry
