All restrictions on the practice of UK-based fatigue specialist Dr. Sarah Myhill were discharged as of July 26. So far Dr. Myhill has not posted a statement, but we have this message from Supporters of Dr. Sarah Myhill stalwart Craig Robinson:

GMC Caves In! All sanctions removed! No restrictions left in force. Sarah can practice totally as normal. 100% victory!

The GMC has not caved in. If Dr. Myhill has complied with their conditions then science has won.

IMHO other issues are going to pop up if she hasn’t complied.

We still have the FTP hearing.

Obviously, I am not a fan of hers. She is an alternative practioner and if she continues to practice this way she should not be practicing as an NHS doctor. The NHS is science based.

The GMC has caved in – in this sense – they brought multiple spurious accusations against Dr Myhill, which have all failed. The accusation of acting ‘as a midwife’ when delivering piglets demonstrates their lack of science – or for that matter, common sense.

I am a patient of hers and was made better as a result. Her scientific writings are applauded around the world except in the UK. You, on the other hand, leave me wondering about standards in the wider NHS and the patient-led service that this country espouses. Shame on you – you are out of step with the modern world. Don’t attack others, such as Dr. Myhill, who shine.
