Abstract

Lyme disease is an increasingly common problem that has spread rapidly across the United States. A case of the
disease and its correlation to TMJ pain and dysfunction in a 35-year-old female is described. The patient was diagnosed and cured of her symptoms with antibiotics, possibly sparing her from surgery.
