National Fibromyalgia Association’s 2nd Annual LEADERS AGAINST PAIN Conference Invitation to Apply for Membership and Scholarship (Deadline has been extended!) The National Fibromyalgia Association is now accepting applications for scholarships to attend the “2nd Annual Leaders Against Pain”
Advocacy and Media Training Seminar to be held on March 16, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Orange County, California. Fibromyalgia Support Group Leaders and advocates from around the country are invited to apply to attend the seminar which is By-Invitation Only. Those selected will learn or fine tune their skills on how to work with the media and develop advocacy programs that support efforts to assist people with fibromyalgia and other chronic pain illnesses. Scholarship recipients will also be able to receive a significant discount to the National Fibromyalgia Association’s 2006 “FAME National Patient Summit and CME Conference” on March 17-19, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel immediately following the Leadership training. One hundred participants will be chosen by the NFA Scholarship Committee to receive a scholarship. Deadline for submitting applications is September 22, 2005. There is no cost to apply for the scholarship.
