Dr. Rothenberg’s presentation will include two parts:
1) The diagnosis & current treatment of fibromyalgia, and
2) Research updates from the 2003 American College of Rheumatology Conference.
A question and answer period will follow the presentation.
When: Sunday, January 25, 2004, from 4:00 – 6:00 pm.
Where: Friendship Heights Village Center, 4433 South Park Ave., Chevy Chase, Maryland. Free parking available.
About the Speaker: Dr. Rothenberg is board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine and specializes in the treatment of fibromyalgia and lupus. He is Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC, and has served as Chair of the Medical Advisory Board of the National Fibromyalgia Partnership since 1992. He is a well-known authority on the treatment of fibromyalgia who has lectured throughout the country and has appeared frequently in newspaper and television interviews. He is in private practice in Washington, DC, where he has treated well over a thousand fibromyalgia patients.
